My car is under 3 years old and still under manufacturer's warranty, if IRS services my car instead of the main dealer will my warranty become invalid?

 

No, your warranty will not become invalid if we service your car. In 2003 laws were changed under the EC Block Exemption Regulation, allowing motorists more flexibility in selecting where the get their cars serviced. As long as genuine manufacturer's parts are used and are recorded as such, and the manufacturer's service schedules are adhered to we can service and maintain your vehicle. We can also advise you if a fault with your vehicle is covered by warranty, allowing you to take advantage of a free repair from the manufacturer. 

 

My MOT expires on the 5th June (example date), can I get it tested before this date?

 

Yes! If your MOT expires on the 5th June you can get it tested from as early as 6th May, your new expiry day will still be 5th June the following year, you effectively have a 13 month MOT. You will not lose 1 months MOT if you have it tested early. However, should your car  Testing it in good time before the expiry date allows time to carry out any repairs that may be required to acquire a Pass certificate. Once the MOT has expired it is illegal to drive it on a public road unless driving to the MOT testing station.

 

My car has a musty smell inside, what could it be?

If your car is equipped with Air Conditioning, over time there can be a build up of mildew in the unit which creates the unpleasant odour, we have the facility to sanitise the system to eradicate the smell, click here for more information.
