It is important to keep your vehicle serviced and maintened to ensure maximum reliability and safety.

To keep your vehicle on the road certain parts of the car need to be routinely checked and replaced if needed, these parts include the brakes, cambelt, and tyres. When your vehicle is serviced we can assess the condition and advise you on the condition of these parts (excluding the cambelt).

Independent Renault Services can service and maintain all models within the Renault vehicle range. As Renault trained technicians we have comprehensive knowledge of service schedules and all of the Renault specialist tools to carry out the work. Although Renaults are our speciality we also service and maintain all other makes and models of vehicle.

 

Every vehicle has its own service requirements depending on the make, model and engine varient. Service intervals are based on either mileage or time. Many vehicles have a service indicator light which illuminates when a service is due. Older vehicles will rely on being serviced at the correct mileage intervals which should be indicated in the service handbook. What to expect from your vehicle service.

 

Your vehicle will be serviced in accordance with it's own specific service schedule and requirements. Where required we will always use genuine Renault parts.

 

Routine vehicle services includes the following:

• Oil and oil filter change

• Pollen filter change (when necessary according to vehicle schedule)

• Air filter change (when necessary according to vehicle schedule)

• Fuel filter change (when necessary according to vehicle schedule)

• Detailed check of brakes and brake fluid condition

• Detailed check of tyre and wheel condition

• Detailed check underneath the vehicle to include exhaust, suspension, brake lines and chassis condition

• Diagnostic fault tracing code read

• Windscreen wipers and washer check

• Battery and lights check

 

We can also supply and fit high quality after market parts if that is your preference which can significantly reduce the servicing cost.

 

Upon inspection if we find any probems with the vehicle that require immediate attention we will contact you, we will never make any repairs without your prior consent.

 

Remember to bring the service history book with you and the locking wheel nut if your vehicle has alloy wheels!
